If I recall correctly Greg said there would be a free update for Evolution Strawberry that will utalise the improved engine. 

Yes, he intends to (later) implement the scripts from the new instrument into Strawberry as well as EAG. It'll reportedly include an improved strum editor, more effects, a new preset browser, better keyswitch mapping, and smoother morphing between velocity layers. Will probably sound great but how will you automate that with midi CC's and change articulations with key switching or velocity not to mention controlling vibrato with aftertouch...?
