nice blues tune. I like the guitar crunch....

I think it needs some small room verb to give it that "in a hole in the wall blues club" sound.

Sounds great! Well played and mixed. Great singing as always.

As far as the lyrics, it about the girl, the buddy and the politician, they don't seem related. Maybe you can tied it all together if you mention in the chorus about two faced people in general and they fall into that category, so you don't like them. I am not a lyricist, but that is my 2 cents.

Great blues tune. I had my volume down low so the vocal didn't immediately come through strong for me. A little bump in my volume seemed to take care of that. It is up to you if you want to pan/eq  those parts away from one another...but I thought to myself in a real club scenareo  they would be all over one another lol. So I guess its about how you want it. Ain't it always?

Hi Daryl.  Thanks for the feedback.  Both you and Frank have a good point.  Although I thought Little Walter was great, sometimes when he played for Muddy Waters he would be blowing all over Muddy's vocals.  I didn't like it when Little Walter did it  --- so, shame on me ;>)

Thanks James.  Now that you mention it --- I might go pour myself a cold one  ---- cheers!!

Hey Daren.  Thanks for the feedback.  When I get around to a re-do, I'll not only cut back on the amount of harp but do a bit better on giving vocals and harp some space.

Hello Herb.  Thanks for listening and the comments.  Ya, a touch of room verb might better give that club venue touch that I was looking for.  Thanks.

Thanks for the kind words Makke.  I'm very glad you like it!!

Hi Vicente.  Thanks for the kind words and feedback.  I'll have to go back and have a look at the lyrics to see what I can do about the flow.

Hey Starise.  I appreciate your taking the time to listen and respond.  Since I don't know what I am doing in the realm of recording I am always very receptive to what is being suggested to me.  Now you have given me an option to think about ---- gosh!!!  ;>)
Thanks again for the valued feedback.

Hi Freddy,

Cool tune...nice smoky, roadhouse vibe and vintage tones.

I agree with Frank (notnat) about the harp but, overall, the mix sounds great to me.
