I notice when I use T Racks in standalone mode on my 15 inch Win 8 lap top I'm not able to see the whole GUI ...
I run out of screen real estate for the lower end of the T Racks GUI …
the only way I have been able to even access the bottom row of options has been to un float  my task bar and push it off to the side …that in itself is no big deal , but I still can hardly get to the lower group of buttons and options ….
at best I can get like a 16 th of an inch of the top of the buttons w my mouse …
I'm looking to process audio and experiment …. this is somewhat frustrating ….
anyway, it seems ok when I use T Racks inside X3 and other DAWs …
is there anything setting wise that I'm missing ?
btw ..I have my screen set to it's highest resolution ….

thank you in advance ,

Kenny

I just opened both T-Racks 3 and T-Racks CS in standalone and I was not able to resize either of them. I'm using Win 7 64bit HP. I used my laptop and I'm running a 1920 x 1080 resolution.  The T-racks UI's only filled about 1/2 of the 17" screen which is still usable for me.

I do really enjoy having UI's that are sizable the same as most other Windows apps.

The GUI is not resizable.  In the past some have done things like you did with the taskbar (I know for other reasons I used to autohide mine until I ended up moving it to the side of the screen anyway, then I moved to mostly Mac so I won't even get into the whole Windows 8 interface because I would not be speaking from enough experience to say yay or nay but initially I don't like it very much).  I will definitely relay this internally, though, especially since it is SO CLOSE for those that have the issue, a matter of such a small amount of space and all would be good in the world. :)

Hello I K_Multimedia , thank you for taking the time to answer I appreceate that

Sure I get where your coming from ….I'm mostly Mac bassed myself… everything is very smooth over there..
I pretty much have to tolerate Windows 8 since SONAR is still the DAW I'm the most comfortable using .

Yes , I do hope that you relay this internally , I think it may be a good thing to figure out a workaround ..
take this for what it is worth as a possible suggestion
I think being able to collapse a section of the GUI (for example ) lets say the rack …or even the wave preview .
this would help greatly to access the lower GUI  when using a small screen lap top ….
my rational for that is by the time its time to process the audio file in stand alone mode all the major adjustments have already been made ...

anyway , I do like T Racks and all the IK products I do have …
you guys have been good to me by running some of the deals you have recently done . I have been able to pick up a lot of your products on sale ….thank you

all the best,

Kenny
