That's some nice blues guitar.  The tone and style remind me a little bit of Robin Trower, yet different.  However, the overall mix sounds a bit muddy to me.  The bass guitar is definitely there, but lacks definition, and is not well defined from the kick drum.  The panning is very narrow to my ears, especially the drums.  It could all use some widening, as I had to put my headphones on to hear the stereo.  Is this a live recording?  That might explain some of that.  Usually, scooping some of the mid-lows from the bass instruments will clean up some of that murkiness.  On the other hand, some of the world's classic recordings sound like this, and this may be what you want.  Either way, it's a fine jam and a fun listen.

Thank you.  It's not live.  I'll do some tweaking and see what I can come up with.

The mix seems distant. Great guitar playing though.

Hi Tony,

+1 to the Trower reference! Cool playing!

Bass is muddy and the drums on the verb sound "almost" like the drums are in a different studio.

Playing is great. Tighten up the mix and it could be killer sounding.

At least do a HPF @ 80Hz on the bass and if it has reverb (which it sounds like it does) kill that. Maybe do a send to a chorus on the bass and blend that in.

Thank for the input.  I only have about 10% of my hearing in my left ear.  So, I'm constatly standing back from the mix and turning 180 to try to even things out.  The bass doesn't have reverb on it, but the mic was pulled out away form the cab to let it breath a little.

What do you mean by HPF @ 80Hz?  Boost the High Pitch Freqs?

Thank you.
