Yeah, I'm late to the party too - this sounds good to me. Great playing by all. Vocal performance is great but the lead vox could be a tad louder for me

This is really good.   I would worry too much about being "a garage guy in a humble studio "  Many of us are.   You will get some good advice here that will make you even better.   I honestly wouldn't change anything about your mix, it sounds good.   You could push the bass and kick a little bit if you want any crits, but they work as is....

Thanks very much for your comments. I agree that in the chorus the vox can come up, I pushed them back in and I am pleased where they sit now.  But the chorus as mike said could come up a little, which I will do.

This is really cool. I think the mix is really good. The vox may need a touch more but other than that, Excellent.

This is one area, I'm really clueless about.... I'm really interested to know how you would go about improving the vocal.  I'm really happy with the way is was sung and it's in tune, but when it comes to processing it I've done nothing but EQ and compress.
