Jon,

well done, tho I don't know the genré too well.  I liked the beat and your manipulations w/ the main "lead" sound.  But I wanted to hear some of the other background sounds more, too.  Prehaps leaving more space to let them step up would work?

Hi AT,

Thanks for the comment bro.  I appreciate it.  I know exactly what you are talking about..  lol!  I am trying to expand my mind to make it happen.  Its so funny..  Its like my brain had to get used to these, "mega-mixes," and I have no idea how long its going to take for me to get that instrumentation, and orchestration up to par..  but I am definitely working toward it.

I wanted to bring up other levels, and drop some levels, and do more volume automation..  couldn't get it this time around.  but I know what you are saying...

Thanks..

Stay safe over there in Texas with the Isaac on the gulf

I agree with AT on the background synths.  The two elements that stand out are the bass drum and the lead synth with its quirky sound, which I like.  But you have some supporting synths very deep in the background that could easily be elevated because they're barely discernible.  Also, the bass drum is rather bare bones, and could be enhanced a bit without being distracting.  Maybe a short delay in time with the song's tempo would work.  Anyway, this is a good song to play with.

Thank you Lynn,

I totally feel what you are saying.  I'm trying to like, "expand my mind," toward that level of production.  You are right I did, "overlook," spicing up that kick a little more.   Some delay would have been great..  Daft Punk'ish and all..   Next time fer sure!

Jon,

you got more to look at for than me.  A good rain 200 miles inland would be just what the cows ordered, tho we've been having a "rainy" August for Texas.

Keep your head down.
