That's about the size of it. There's loads of examples of amp, software and fx processors all doing great things and they can all virtually sound the same when manipulated.

If your dream rig is a $9 app or a $3000 fx unit then it doesn't really matter.

It's best to hoover up the software via sales and KVR and the apps are as cheap as chips.

Rather than manipulate software, I quite like their subtle differences. Playing guitar is fun and that's the bottom line. I'm lucky, as I have no idea what all the great amps sound like anyway because I've never owned them.

I liked the Bogner amps in the Elevenrack. I can't remember what they are called. I think I was too used to the HD500. I agree they all are getting pretty good! And that's great for us. I wish I had this stuff when I was in my 20's and had to save and save for every little thing.

I have guitar amps I bought in my twenties. I've used them for 30 years and I can sell them tomorrow for 2x-3x what I bought them for, but at the moment I'm planning on playing them for another 20 or 30 years.

I played the same Fender Twin Reverb II for about 30 years and finally sold it a couple of years ago. It was a 1983. The last Paul Rivera Fender I believe. A very underrated amp.

I've had 3 Fender Twins... that's an amp that will drive a guy to try an amp sim.

There is a reason the *vintage* Twins currently sell for about half the price of the smaller and more versatile *vintage* Deluxe Reverb amps.

My first "pro" guitar rig.

Fender 59 Bassman, a cry baby, a genuine tube drive and my black US standard strat.

Between that and the Marshall, there's very little I couldn't accomplish with clever mic placement.

You and Buddy Guy can't both be wrong.

I'm interested in knowing. The ones who want to buy BIAS are not saying if they want the full $200 version or the basic $99 version. Hands, please?
Unless you are in a position to have access to a lot of different amps to capture, I don't see much advantage to the $200 version. Can you not load amps that were captured in the full version to play in the little version? In that case, you could download from the cloud. Right? Just asking!

I thought the video explained that there were a lot more basic tweaking options in the $200 version, but it seems like the $10 iPad version is the hot ticket.
