Classic T-RackS Multi-band Limiter
Classic T-RackS Clipper
Vintage Tube Program Equalizer
Brickwall Limiter
Opto Compressor
Classic T-RackS Compressor
Metering
Vintage Tube Compressor/Limiter model 670
Linear Phase Equalizer
Classic T-RackS Equalizer

I also have all the Pro Channel modules

The British Channel has always looked like something useful and the new Master EQ 432. I have 260 credits that have been sitting for a while but I'm not sure what to do with them.
As for Amplitude I've thought about the Silvertone and perhaps some Dr. Z models. I don't use heavy distortion. I tend toward clean or some breakup, some overdrive and compression, blues and blues/rock mostly. No metal so I don't know what other amps would benefit me. Then sometimes I like some higher distortion but is usually tends to be more of a overdrive/compression sort of distortion. I have a Jordan J-700 pedal that I love, and original DS-1 that I like, and a Tech 21 Comp-Tortion that I like. So if you have an amp recommendation, I'd like that too. I've had these credits for well over a year so I'm thinking maybe I shuld use them. I don't think they apply to something like ARC-2 do they?

Thanks,
J

If I recall (it was some time ago) I was able to use my credits (jam points) on an upgrade to ARC 2 from ARC 1.  So I suspect your credits will be good.  However, like it so often happens with IK stuff, had I waited for the appropriate sale, I could have gotten the upgrade for less money than I spent when also using the jam points.

T-Racks stuff: The British Channel + Buss Comp are quite nice. Against all my expectation, I do prefer the White Channel to the classic Black one. The Buss Comp is one of the very best I've tried.

The White 2A and Black 76 are nice, but you have that covered with Pro Channel I think.

Come to think of it - doesn't Pro Channel feature some 4K (SSL) model? In which case, you already have and equivalent of IK's British Channel.

I haven't tried the Neve stuff and all the newer ones, so I can't really comment.

For Amplitube - The Hiwatt model - I love that thing. Is it included in AT3? If not, it's definitely worth demo'ing. :)

Not sure if you can use credits to buy it but "Mixing and Mastering w/ IK Multimedia T-RackS" by B. Owsinski is well worth the read.

The Hiwatt/Hiamp is not included.

Bus comp is great, The echoplex is very good for guitar. Classic Studio Reverbs are also very nice to have. I'm not a huge fan of channel strips in general. I like to build my own. The White and Black comps are highly rated. I'm not sure their any better than the Cakewalk Pro Channel, but they are nice. If you don't have room treatment I would suggest ARC 2. It's one of the best things I ever got as far as helping with my mixes.

I'd omitted CSR because it wasn't part of T-RackS when I got it. Definitely worth consideration.

Thanks! I'll look at those. I do not have the Hiwatt sim. I have a LOT of the amps though. Def interested in the ARC 2, I need that.

Thanks again!

We're getting close to Christmas and IK (and everyone else) will be having sells soon. I got ARC 2 for $149.99 from Amazon I believe last year, and I'm not sure you can use credits for that. The upgrade to Grand is a really good deal for 200 credits. It includes a lot of what has been mentioned.

Thanks Clint. I am trying to not spend any (more) money until the Black Friday sales. There will be deals I WANT. I am looking at the TT Mellotoon but I think I can get it as an expansion for 79.00 already, if they put it on sale I will jump on it, and the ARC 2. I wish Shure would put the SM7b on a half price sale. Half price on a C414 would be nice too! LOL (I'm not holding my breath).

Yeah, I understand. Check into that Grand upgrade. You said you had 260 credits and Grand is a great deal. It has the quad series, The British Channel and Black and white comps.http://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/trgrand/
