"LA FIN" - dance rock/techno demo.  if Jim Morrison is actually dead and not on some deserted island somewhere, he's probably rolling over in his grave, or maybe just laughing lol - I left out the Oedipal sequence ;p vocals are placed rather far back to let the dance beats & guitar be the leader here.

also this is up on my server as not to violate soundcloud TOS.

Lyrics by Jim Morrison. Music by The Doors.

vocals, guitars, bass, loops & samples by me
a JM sample on here too floating like a ghost in the soundscape

This is the end Beautiful friend This is the end My only friend, the end Of our elaborate plans, the end Of everything that stands, the end No safety or surprise, the end I'll never look into your eyes........again Can you picture what will be So limitless and free Desperately in need of some stranger's hand In a......... desperate land

A real treat. Turn a known song on it's head side or stomach I say.

Thanks for sharing that Daren. I loved it.

Wow, that's about as original as a cover can get.  That would have JM dancing on his grave.  Your versatility is awesome as well as your creativity.  There is nothing cookie cutter about you.  You should be producing full time for the stars, whoever they are right now.  Way to go, Daren.

Interesting - I enjoyed that.

I'm a huge Doors fan - got to see them in 1968 and visited Jim's grave a couple of years ago when I was in Paris.

Well done.

Man that's great..... very original.

Is it my system, if it is I'm worried, but it seems very left hand speaker heavy??

Excellent sir - they just need to remake Apocolypse Now and you'll be all set for the soundtrack

thanks Bapu, Lynn, Mark, Stinga, James, GR, & Daryl!  this was kinda fun recording project. Like Bapu said, turn a classic on its head side or stomach.  I'm a huge Doors fan too, Mark, and have also been to Pére Lachaise.  Probably one of the most interesting graves I've ever been to.  The 60's are still going on all around it lol.  Jim was a genius poet/singer without parallel-

Almost passed this one, not a big Doors fan.   I like what you have done with it.     I'm sure JM would approve....a very orignal take...
