Hey Ed,

Thanks for checking it out, buddy, and for your kind words!

Yeah, LOL, I was super uncomfortable and felt like a total imbecile the entire time while shooting the video.  After a gazillion years of playing live on stage, and feeling very natural acting like a maniac, nothing ever bothered me, but I always felt like an idiot and hated getting our band promo pictures taken because the "posing" factor made me cringe.  I do however, feel that I've got the perfect "face for radio".   Hopefully I'll force myself to try to not hate it as much for the next video.

Thanks, Ed, have a great 4th of July!

Hey, Scotty,

Thanks, brother, I appreciate you checking it out!  But, really LOL, "The King of Queens"?  One of my buddies that I haven't seen in quite a while said I looked like a different comedian, Brian Regan.  Maybe, I'll switch to comedy and start a new career!  "Yeah, that's the ticket!"

Thanks again, Scott, I hope you're enjoying your new Motif.  Have a great 4th, buddy!

Hey, Craig,

Thanks very much for checking out the video and for your encouraging comments!  I really appreciate that, because as you can see in my reply to Bapu above, during the entire shooting of the video, to me, it felt like I was actually getting that good old "wedgie from hell".   A wedgie probably would have been more comfortable!

Seriously, Craig, thanks a lot for your support, I truly appreciate it, buddy, and have a great holiday!

Hey, Paulo,

Thanks very much for checking it out and commenting!  You hit the nail on the head, Paul, as I mentioned in my replies to Ed and Craig, even after decades of playing to live audiences, shooting the video was definitely one of the most uncomfortable things that I've ever done!  LOL, I'm really glad I became a musician and not an actor!

I'm just starting pre-production for the next video for "Concrete Sky", and I'm hoping to learn to enjoy it a little instead of being totally miserable throughout the entire ordeal.

Also, thanks very much for the links, he uses some cool effects in the video, and his U2 cover was really well done.  It looks like his website is down for the past couple days, but I'd be interested to see some of his other videos.

Thanks again, Paulo, greatly appreciated, sir!

Hey, Ed,

Yes, sir, I knew what you meant, and you and Paulo were exactly on the money.  It was definitely a situation where I was super uncomfortable.  I'm very used to running around like a wild animal on stage, and I'm the furthest thing from being a shy guy, but I've always hated posing for pictures.  I'm going to try Julibee's idea for the next video.

Have a good 4th, Ed!

Hey, Pete,

Thanks for checking it out and for the comment on the tone.  Yeah, it's weird, I noticed that sometimes changing to different resolution settings on Youtube can sometimes cause slight audio sync issues that aren't there on the original video.  I'm thinking it's probably a server streaming thing.

Thanks again, have a good one!
Bob

Hi, Jon,

How are you, buddy?  Hope you're having a rocking week!

Thanks so much for checking it out and for the kind words of encouragement.  I'm really glad that you picked up on the Bond movie silhouette thing!

You're definitely right about next time trying to relax and have a good time while shooting it.  I spent too much energy focusing on the camera, lighting, technical and logistics end of what was happening to actually relax and have some fun with it.  I'll sort of have an idea what's up for next time and hopefully will be able to be a little more natural after figuring out the new video gear.

Thanks again, my friend, and have a good one!

Hi, Jules,

Thanks so much for checking it out and for the kind words and great inspirational insight!  Your videos are always really cool and look super professional, and they were actually one of the reasons that I decided to give it a shot.

Your idea is really a very good one, because I'm really much more comfortable in front of huge crowds than with just a few people in the room, maybe next time I should throw a "video party" and have a bunch of people there for it.

Thanks again, Julianna, I really appreciate your comments and support.  Have a very happy Fourth of July!

Nice video, good job on the smoke & fire effects. My only crtiticism is what some others have said is that when your singing those lyrics you kind of talk them in the video footage.  A great first video project all in all Bob, get out there and do it again!

Bob Oister on YouTube... how cool is that?  Pretty damned cool.  I remember this tune well.  Great work all the way around, Bob.

Kinda late to the party here.  I liked the production and the concept, but I do have to agree that you appeared uncomfortable/awkward in a few of the clips.  You might want to have your camera person work on keeping you animated on the next one?  Practice guitar faces to make it look like you are working real hard?

Cool tune and a pleasure to listen to.

Hey, Gary,

Thank you so much for checking out the video, and for your kind words of encouragement!

Yes, sir, believe it or not, I'm exactly the same way.  LOL, as you can see from my remarks above, for me, the actual video shooting was the mental equivalent of having an ice pick shoved into my eye , but I do plan to try to relax and have fun with it for the next video.

Thanks again for your kind words and your support, I greatly appreciate it, Gary!

Thanks for checking out the video and for the very kind words!  Last year you posted your really cool video for "Perfect Love Affair", and it was one of the sparks that got me interested in giving this video stuff a shot.

How are you buddy?  It's really great to hear from you!

I greatly appreciate you checking it out, and also your kind words!  Yep, green screens and chroma key are actually pretty cool.  After a little learning, I actually really enjoyed the video editing part of the process a lot.

Thanks for stopping by to check out the video, much appreciated, Bruce!

Great performance, as always, Bob.  I sort of imagined you jumping around a lot more than you did, but I totally 'get' the not being comfortable in front of a camera.  Good job for tackling that and all the best with your CD!
