Hi Tim,thanks, tremolo in classical guitar is repeatably striking the same melody note while simultaneously playing arpeggios with your thumb. In this case, one note with the thumb followed by three repeated melody notes with index and middle fingers of the right hand.
Tremolo , from the Italian tremere meaning tremblng. Not to be confused wih the incorrectly named "Fender tremolo bar" which should have been named "Vibrato bar" ; )

I like this a lot It reminds me of Recuerdos De La Alhambra. I always had trouble with this style. The hard part for me was getting the tremolo louder than the rest. It's not easy. It was harder for me with these big meatcleaver hands! LOL!
