Hi
I am getting very low level of sound input in VS-100 from my BK5
I am using unbalanced connection cables to do the connection.
In VS 100 user's guide say's that input 3 and 4 are for balanced inputs
In BK 5 user's guide say's that output L/R should use unbalanced 1/4'' jack's
Can i connect both outputs with balanced connection cables?
Would it raise the input audio level on VS100?
Should i use the inputs 1/2 insted? (But i need them for my guitar and mic...)
Please help because i cannot record my performances from the keyboard...

Hi TopKnife, Inputs 3 and 4 on VS100 are not restricted to only balanced connectors, they are balanced OR unbalanced. You have the option. Channels 3/4 are line ins, so push the level up on your keyboard. HTH.

Yes i know thar the inputs can be balanced or unbalanced. But pushing yhe volume on the keyboard, the level of chanels 3/4 and level of mixture all to max still gives me a audio recording very low on logic pro compared to other audio or midi files...

This shouldn't be the case.
Channel 3 and 4 are unbalanced - unless you use TRS cables. However, if your board is using unbalanced, it is best to keep it that way.

Have you tried connecting to input 5/6 to see if it is the same? Maybe going direct to 1/2 and using the trims will provide better (louder) results, but you will get a little more color from the pre-amp.
