"The sun will be turned into darkness (10/28/14) and the moon into blood (10/8/14)..."

2014 has 2 full moon eclipses ("blood moons") about 6 months apart and 2 partial sun eclipses about 6 months apart.
2015 has 1 partial moon & 1 full moon eclipse about 6 months apart and 1 full sun & 1 partial sun eclipse about 6 months apart.

4 eclipses in a row are not so common.

How is toilet paper like the USS Enterprise?

They both circle Uranus/your anus and wipe out Klingons/cling ons.

Well of all the... It was totally overcast here. Go figure. Now I'll never know if it really happened. And as if to taunt me, guess who peeks out of the clouds tonight as if to say Nanynanybooboo!

Can't wait to (not be able to) see the partial solar eclipse on the 28th.

Next spring is the Total Eclipse of the Sun. But you won't see it either unless you're in the Eastern Hemisphere.
