You can download FreqEcho 64bit free right now. It's been out for awhile...sorry I thought you guys knew or I would have posted the info. (cclarry has dropped the ball Hahaha) The new VVV has several new algorithms 15 total. The smooth plate is getting a lot of praise on KVR. Some guy has made 50 presets for download in the link I posted.

I checked and my FreqEcho may be a beta version. E-mail Valhalla support and he will send you the downloads.

I think I'll wait for the official release, not too keen on running beta versions!

I haven't had problems with Ultrachannel either and I did install the update. Weird.

Yeah, it's weird.

The Ultrachannel update installed for me without a problem. Still worked.

Then on two occasions, the dam thing went south, messing everything up in its path. As much as I'm happy for those who have no problem with Ilok, has been only a source of frustration and unpredictable failure here.

Don't have the knowledge to figure out why, when everyone else almost is not experiencing any issue. Use Iobit AWC cleaner and Registry First Aid. They may be knocking out some registry key that takes the constipated Ilok empire down.

Mention of Valhalla reverbs. No Ilok, no Ilok which is Ilok without dongle, no call response activation. Just $50 fee for entry into almost reverb Nirvana.

Never had a single issue with Valhalla, and excited about the pending upgrades.

I still am considering this and saw this review on AskAudioMag

I got the UltraChannel for free, but haven't got to use it, yet. "Life" has been keeping me very busy lately! LOL
I am seriously looking forward to sitting still in my studio.

I have far too many reverb and delay plug-ins, even after thinning the heard during the present rebuild. But odd though it may sound, I use them. Each one has some trick that I found a use for it seems. So I am getting this one too. Eventide makes amazing hardware, I still have an Instant Phaser and Instant Flanger in the rack because they haven't released plug-in emulations of them that I can use.

"Thinning the heard" - good pun, Bill.

I tried the demo. It sounded good to me, but I'm happy with my Valhalla stuff and my new MMultibandconvolution. I hate to actually spend money...I would have to keep the ilok thing if I do. The Ultrachannel is nice, but it's redundant. I probably won't keep it forever.

I bought it and am delighted with it. Very versatile and very good for sound designer type effects. Lots of presets of varying quality too. Can't speak highly enough of both this and the UltraChannel. Wish I had jumped on the other Eventide plugs when they were released at introductory prices.
