If I said that I didn't give TOS about the COC would Willy tell me off ?

I suspect he would probably have a laugh, though the whole tone of the above statement could be changed with a single letter word.

Thanks Wookie, I just fixed it for ya, although the forum has decided I did it 9 minutes ago for some reason. Even the edit details are being moderated now, lol !

@DrewFx1 what are these goto statements in the code example?

They're banned words. You'll have to use your imagination or this thread will goto $%$#@.

Just out of interest, does anyone know if the terms of the new "Code of Conduct" (COC) are applicable to the lyrical content of tunes posted in the Songs Forum?

And does this apply to a specific language?

I posted some pretty heavily political songs in the past and they were just fine. It was hard to miss the political slant in them.... I think the songs are fine... it's the discussions that break the rules.

Within the context of the forums I would suggest that you use your common sense but any words that you would prefer not used in front of your children, Mother, favourite aunt and also what most people understand as being profanities are probably the ones to avoid.

As for lyrical content I would suggest that providing a warning about language that is likely to offend would be the appropriate approach.

In case anyone is confused about all those acronyms flying around, here's some help:

TOS  "The Original Series"
COC  "Consortium Of Consortia" or "Circle Of Confusion", I'm not sure which
