or Atlanta International Pop! Lots of music and video there to be tapped. The ABB is the only band I know of that has released both their shows from the 2nd festival. They opened it and closed it. Hendrix was there, SPIRIT... I'd LOVE to here/see the SPIRIT set. There were so many great acts in 1969. So much great music.
That would be a movie I would BUY and the longer the better. Three days?? Dang, they could release a 10 or 20 DVD set. Sell them once every other month and I'd jump!

You're aware that threads like this could lead to a remake of Lord of the Rings set in New York City starring Justin Bieber as Frodo, Eddie Murphy as Sam, Keanu Reeves as Gandalf (whoa...), Kim Kardashian as Elronda (plot variation), Danny DeVito as Gollum, Chris Tucker as Aragorn, Sylvester Stallone as Legolas, Rosie O'Donnel as Gimli, and a glazed donut as the Eye of Sauron, right? Once an idea bounces around in the vacuum inside a studio executive's head for a while, it's pretty deformed by the time you get it out. We may be better off avoiding putting the idea for more remakes in their decorative and completely non-functional little skulls.

On the positive side, they could have made a worse choice than Arnold Schwarzenegger for the aging Bilbo. I'm just not sure how...

They should have left Pearl Harbor to TORA, TORA, TORA. No comparison.

I couldn't agree more.  TORA, TORA, TORA was the very first movie I saw as a child in a movie theater (ca. 1970 ... I would have been 6).  Yes, some wonderful childhood memories.

I recently tried to re-watch the remake.  It has to be one of the worst movies every made.
