I put this together in the last several days in my spare time. Played all parts with the exception of the drums which are BFD 2 with some Gen Z cymbals thrown in there. The guitars are real guitars. No loops or copy paste on anything except the drums.

This sounds like something you might hear in an after hours jam at a blues club at 4 am.  The overall vibe is  loose and laconic, but the tone of the lead guitar is rich and the rhythm guitar is bright and clean.  Tighten the screws on this a bit and you can play this during the main show.  Also, the bass was lost in the mix which would help glue the piece together if it's a bit more present.

Nice tune mix sounds a little centred for me, as noted the Bass gets a little lost.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks guys. When I added this one I was deluded to think it sounded better than it really does. I'm going back to the drawing board on it again. Bass and timing issues noted. Thanks a million!

I reworked the bass line and timing issues, added keys and saxophone, worked with the dynamics so that the song has more feel to it. I also worked on  M/S with the main parts to bring some more dimension into it and get some of it out of the center.I am still able to retain a decent mono mix.Did more eq work to bring it into shape a little better. Let me know what you think.

very cool. has a bit of a Herbie Hancock flavour.  the guitar tone at 1:10 is sweet. i guess i'm hearing your updated version so i didn't notice too many timing issues; the few that are there are OK with me in the jazz laconic feel that Lynn pointed out. love the sax; it elevates this to another level. very nice listen especially on a rainy Monday morning. :)
