• Coffee House
  • Judas Priest Redeemer Of Souls Tour - Rochester Setlist

Setlist:
  • Dragonaut
  • Metal Gods
  • Devils Child
  • Victim of Changes
  • Halls of Valhalla
  • Love Bites
  • March of the Damned
  • Turbo Lover
  • Redeemer of Souls
  • Beyond the Realms of Death
  • Jawbreaker
  • Breaking the Law
Encore 1:
  • Hell Bent for Leather
Encore 2:
  • You've Got Another Thing Comin'
  • Living After Midnight
  • Defenders of the Faith

Great to see Victim Of Changes, Jawbreaker and Devil's Child back alongside the cream of the new stuff; I would have maybe liked to see Beginning Of The End included though. No Painkiller , Green Manalishi or Diamonds and Rust though, now that is a surprise.

And I know they feel they have to play them, but if they could leave out the ubiquitous Breaking The Law, Living After Midnight, You've Got Another Thing Comin' and Hell Bent For Leather, it would leave space for some classics that have been off the setlist for a while.

Songs I'd love to see included again, should they ever return back home to tour:
  • Tyrant
  • Genocide
  • The Ripper
  • Sinner
  • Exciter
  • Desert Plains
  • Screaming For Vengeance
  • Freewheel Burning
  • The Sentinel
  • Out In The Cold
  • Night Crawler
  • Between the Hammer & the Anvil
  • Wheels Of Fire
  • Angel

How about you, any favourites you'd like to see live?

My own list looks pretty much like yours, Steve.

I've been listening to Sad Wings a lot recently. Man, I love that record! I'm also trying to work out a cover of The Ripper and to have my wife sing it. :P

Absolutely!

But the first version of Diamonds & Rust is my favourite, as on Unleashed In The East, not the various part-acoustic versions they've dabbled with since.

Yes, that's exactly the one I was thinking of (Unleashed In The East......that was also my first ever JP album). To be honest, I haven't heard them do any other version.....prolly for the better.

Here you go Mesh:

It's still a great cover, but the heavy version is better I reckon.

Incidentally, the latest arrangement they play live is a mixture of the acoustic and the 'metal' versions.

The acoustic part is pretty much the same, but when they heavy it up, they start playing the intro riff a la Unleashed In The East.
