Rebooting a remake 6 years after its release. 
 
Wouldn't surprise me to hear that they're already planning a re-reboot for the following year or month or week.
 
Me, I'll stick w/ the old Vincent Price classic. 
 
 

I liked the 2nd version of the story, 'The Omega Man' with Charlton Heston.

I'll have to watch that one.

i just finished watching the 'i am legend' movie with smith (for the 2nd time, 1st in the theatre)
 
i saw "the omega man" in the theatre, as a wee child......
 
i would watch a reboot of the previous one as well...
 
you know, they had alternate endings for i am legend, in which he DID survive....
if they thought they might do a sequel, why didn't they use that ending?
 

This just in...James Cameron is reportedly in talks regarding a remake of the movie, Frozen. Insiders hint that he plans to base this new story on an unlikely couple sailing on a large vessel across the northern Atlantic. Some critics have suggested that it may be too soon to remake a movie released only one year before. Other critics claim that Cameron's version is really just Titanic with a new title sequence. Furious with his detractors, Cameron allegedly declared that his critics should, "Let it go." He then mumbled something about shooting the entire movie with blue CGI characters in 3D.
 
Ron Meyer, President and COO of Universal Studios added, "You guys all act like all we do is remake other movies! That's ridiculous. That's...Oh, who am I kidding? We've never had an original thought in our lives."
 

I can't stand all these damn remakes.  Most don't touch the originals.
 
Hmm...  But that does give me an idea for a new topic!

Yeah, that's a big problem of todays movie/ game/ musicindustry. No innovation, just copy and paste :(
