a $200 difference.  Now when K10 U upgrade goes on the Half off Sale..it will be $199
Make the total cost $348....half price...add to that that I got UVI ($149) for free..
and I think it all comes out in the wash...LOL

I have to pass on this one as I'm awash in drums and piano from K8 & K9. Maybe 11.

K10 is a great package, I think.  And the price is right.  The audio demos of the new pianos sound so good, it might be worth updating just for those.
 
Not sure I'd pay the hefty premium for K10U, though.  For me, the extra stuff would be hard to justify, although it would be different for someone into film scoring, I suppose.
 
I'd be interested to hear from anyone contemplating going from Komplete to Ultimate.  What's in there that interests you?

I'm on ultimate 9. The gap in price to go from ultimate 9 to ultimate 10 is much wider than the other editions. If I realised that I would have thought twice. I don't see myself upgrading till 11 at least.

If it were me I would at least wait for the sales. The bugs would be ironed out by then as well.

Alex, from K9U to K10U is $399...not $699...that's from K9 Standard, not Ultimate.
I just did the jump from K9 to K10, and got it from Musicians Friend for $149 with
a free UVI Ultra Mini, which I sold and got some money back to decrease the price even
more...that way when the K10 to K10U goes on sale...I'm ready provided I have the
money...LOL

NI have been having their 50% sale around the end of the year for the past 2 year. If my memory is correct it has to to with thanksgiving/black Friday sale. Now, when is thanksgiving? (I am not an American, hope you can forgive me for not knowing the date.)
