At first, I felt like an elitist, sitting way up here in the Coffee House. I admit, I got a little uppity. I started thinking of myself as being only a 2nd class citizen. I know, that's crazy, right?
I wondered why the Bakers would have done this. Don't they know that if they elevate the Coffee House, someone might see it? Wouldn't that be embarrassing?
While I didn't speak to anyone in actual authority, I do know where to find the Muffin Man. He lives on Drury Lane. Anyway, he said that he had heard that the Bakers had grown tired of watching the whole forum sway in the breeze and they had decided they needed a stronger foundation. Also, the loading dock makes it easier for them to load in and out. I realized that, although the Muffin Man is completely deranged, in this particular case, he was right. The Songs forum is definitely a stronger and more stable foundation that the Coffee House. One thing we are not, is stable. Which is odd, since we often smell like one.
Anyhow, I tossed some candy corn to his moat monster and ran back across the drawbridge. You wouldn't believe the size of the Muffin Man's house. Someone tried to scoop me up in a bag for disposal and I realized that no matter how high the Coffee House rises, I'm still the same person. I still put my poncho on one neck-hole at a time. Also, that chihuahua is not really my butler, even if his name is Jeeves.
