Right. It does not import. I'm still curious what tasty word got censored...

Perhaps, something to do with a duck?     Except, in a plural tense...

Noting that the saying "there's no such thing as bad publicity" is often attributed to him too so in that respect thank you for creating this thread :)

LMAO  I'm seriously starting to think the entire staff of IK did something horrible and unmentionable to Larry that goes way beyond software.  I'm talking waterboarding and probes type stuff!

If they waterboarded him, at what tempo?  Hmmmm maybe it wasn't at a set tempo and made Larry who he is
Just joking Larry
I have the boxed version on order. My 50th B-day present to myself. Hope I enjoy it.
Now the question is will it get here before my 50th B-day at the end of September?????????????????????????

What boggles my mind is how a company can completely skirt the support of its
"FLAGSHIP" product for almost 10 years...5 years COMPLETELY without support.

6 years after releasing version 2...and a year after the 2.5 update,
they proudly announce (with photos) that they are hard at work on ST 3.
Now, mind you, 64 bit is already taking a foothold, and the product
is becoming non-functional for many users, who have invested THOUSANDS into product AND libraries
with them...7 years...nothing, 8 years...nothing, 9 years, still nothing, but the photos
RESURFACE (exact same ones no less) and they AGAIN tout that they are hard at
work and will have it out for sure by the end of the year.  They then have a garage sale,
offering ST instruments for pennies on the dollar...then a group buy making them even less.
In the mean time that comes and goes. They say March, then that comes and goes, then, Mid 2014,
which almost came and went, and THEN release ONLY the download version.  Which has to be updated
after 2 weeks, but STILL no release of the the Boxed version, for which they have ALREADY collected the money.

And all the time THEY TOUT "10 YEARS IN THE MAKING" and release a PLAYER - PLAYER
with STUNNING 3D ICONS!!!   (Which there happen to be PLENTY of better FREE ones BTW).

Mind you now, ALL during the course of that last year, it is stated REPEATEDLY and EMPHATICALLY,
by the company cronies that there will be no SAMPLETANK FREE.

YET, one month after the download version, and BEFORE the boxed version, they release
SAMPLETANK FREE.  And everyone says YAY! And "I don't see the conflict"

Sorry to be such a cynic...but you guys are completely blind...not caring if the company
has bent you over the table and banged your brains out, didn't use a condom, and you didn't
even get dinner and a movie...and you say "THANKS" and "PLEASE SIR MAY I HAVE SOME MORE?"

Wow..I am living in another Universe...

"There will be no free version" in context of the conversations - which were always about importing legacy libraries. Quite simple really, when context is brought into the picture. I can see how things taken out of context can cause frustration.

Edit - and it was that there would be no free version upon release and in this case we are simply referring to a demo version as SampleTank FREE

Since it's quote day:

“Grudges are for those who insist that they are owed something; forgiveness, however, is for those who are substantial enough to move on.”
― Criss Jami, Salomé: In Every Inch In Every Mile

But what do I know, apparently I'm a blind sucker...
