Wow - I would have punted my cat about halfway through what you have already been through (not really).

I am SOOO glad I use Kontakt, instead.

My Mac imports in ST3 went absolutely smoothly. No complaints whatsoever. Love this app and its inclusion of legacy sounds. Great efx too.

That's what I understood. Just wanted to say that my ST3 "Mac" experience has been flawless.

Rain..we all have things that send us over the edge. I have days when I am completely unglued over minor things. I simply don't post athose times :)

FWIW, after the second time, when I first managed to properly import Miroslav, SampleMoog and SampleTron, things were ok.

But after I finally installed the factory content and started adding other expansions, that's when things got bad.

For those who have it installed on a Mac - have you installed many expansions, and, a shot in the dark, did you use the default directory or did you custom install?

Default directory here, I'm afraid.

The inclusion of Miroslav is a godsend. Will try custom folder install on next Mac.

I ended up just aborting the whole thing figuring I'd let it do its things when I go to bed - the samples are imported/converted it's just the database which needs to be refreshed.

Unless I find a fix though, there's no more adding expansions. Too bad because there were a few ones on sale for $10  on Esoundz which I was eying.
