I'm surprised you've had no takers on ST3. I'd take it myself if it ran on a 32-bit system. Yeh, I've got some of the same reservations about IKM as you and haven't really considered them for new purchase in quite a while. But I still use ST2 on a regular basis, and if ST3 is half as useful...

So the guy who has been ranting and raving for what seems like a lifetime at everyone who dares to even mention the name Sampletank 3 and telling them what a complete **** they would be if they were to even consider buying it if and when it ever comes out is now selling his copy ?

Wouldn't it be worse if he was secretly hanging onto it while bashing the vendor? Seems to me that passing it along to somebody at a really good price is more than the right thing to do.

Thanks Bit..exactly...

Let me clear the record for the inquiring minds...I buy cheap and sell for a minor
(very minor) profit.

The only income I have, due to taking care of my Mom now for
over a year, therefore not being able to work, is the pittance that I make
from the band (and that just started making money) .  So I supplement that
by buying these things cheap and selling them at very minor profit...otherwise
I'd have a lot of things I'd never use...many I do lose money on to get rid of them...

ST 3, to me, is the biggest farce perpetrated on the music community...
in every way possible.  They touted "10 years in the making"
and come out with a laughable "Player" for $350!  I'd be surprised
if they spent more then a year on it personally.

If I thought it were a decent program I would keep it...but I don't...
I have Kontakt, with Komplete 9, and K10 update on the
way as soon as it's released. (I pre-ordered)

It would be far worse to "bash the product" not knowing anything about it,
but knowing the history, and that the program is "mediocre" for $350
would be enough to bash it without ever having tried it, due to their
"EXTREME" lack of support.  I did evaluate it briefly at GC, but, I felt it would
be more appropriate to at least "try" the program and give it "fair" evaluation.
Someone was selling it cheap...I bought it solely for the purpose of having a more
"objective" point of view, and knowing that I could get rid of it at least for
what I paid for it.

It is quite "lackluster" for a program that costs that much...but that's just
my opinion...others are entitled to theirs..

BTW...my bashing them was for their LACK OF SUPPORT...
not really for the product itself...just to be clear...but the
product leaves a lot to be desired IMO...

Your sales technique could stand some refinement, Larry.

Most definitely Bit...most definitely....but I have to call them like I see them...
That's why I could never be a salesman....I have to let the product sell itself...

BTW...it sold....
