I WAS using X2, but I'm more comfortable on 8.5.3, so I used my credit to buy the entire Dimension Pro instead. So, I had originally posted this on the 8.5.3 forum in order not to break forum protocol, but someone there suggested since most folks re:my particular issue were on X2, or here, instead of there, I thought I'd post it here, as well. Having said that, I'm an Alesis Fusion 8HD user that is all of a sudden having issues with automating my Patch selection via Sonar. Let me be CLEAR. I am NOT saying I have a problem with Sonar. I'm merely asking of any Fusion users here what is their method of automating their patch selection with their equipment. Meaning, do you use a OMNI channel setting? I use an absolute channel setting for each track so I never make the mistake of recording data meant for 1 channel, or track, going on another channel. The MIDI Template provided on the Fusion is a great idea, but I'm having a LOT of problems on the Alesis making it automatically accept the DAW program assignments. Hep Me, KC
