Try a demo of the Maag EQ4. If that don't float your boat, nothin will.

The Slate VMR will include a Neve-modeled EQ plugin with 4 bands, as you noted. But another soon-to-arrive (
) EQ that may be worth waiting for is the Eiosis AirEQ -- reports from beta-testers have been intriguing, to say the least.
As you may know, it's from the same developer who does the Slate plugins -- Fabrice Gabriel.
Cheers,
Eddie
Yeah i know about the VMR from slate, i am following it closely, but i want to test it before i buy
Also know about the Eosis AirEQ, i am very excited how that will sound and if it is possible to get
it without the hardware controller, just the plugin only, but it depends how much it will cost !.
Thanks for all of the suggestions so far.
