I've got 3 tatoos...but not on my sternum...
I have a Celtic Arm Band, a Spider Web with a Black Widow
on my left should, and a one around my navel that is a
Blue and Black feather like pattern...non of those bothered me...

Sternum....ummm...yeah...that's skin and bone...OUCH...

Most people who see it focus on the section that's right on the border of the armpit - and tbh, it was painful. But the sternum was unreal. For a fraction of a second when he started I saw black. Then you start and block the pain, but after a while, if you've been laying on that table for two hours, it gets more difficult to focus.
