Because:
 
1 - I thought the CH deserved its own Sampletank thread.
2 - I thought it'd be good to have another controversial topic to create a balance.
3 - Now that my DAW is 64 Bit only, I have no choice but to upgrade to ST3 to keep on using Miroslav.
4 - I'm disappointed that JamPoints now only cover 30% of the purchase instead of 50% as they used to.
5 - It's red and black.
6 - The world is round, it turns me on

Great - not only can't I get the old 50% off but an error in processing has just robbed me of $50 worth of jam point and left me without a ST upgrade.
 
Considering that the only reason I'm buying this upgrade is to get Miroslav up and running in Logic X, throwing IK $100 was my way of solving the issue and moving on. Now seems like they'll have me wasting time jumping through a few more hoops.
 
Pisses me off considerably because tbh, judging from the demos, the new IK library itself isn't even close to half as good as the sampler instruments that come for free with Logic. And I already have the T-Racks effects. The 64 bit engine is all I care for...
 
 

And I'm having a special IK/SampleTank sort of moment again as I'm importing the Miroslav Library into ST3 - instead of simply linking it, it frickin' copies every sample back on my main drive and rebuild the library there. And it takes its sweet frickin' time.
 
An hour wasted and hoping that I have an option to re-move that library. When I have such an option - currently it's still "Building Instruments Database". Dumbest, most inefficient install/upgrade I've ever seen. 
 
And that's only a start - I still have SampleMoog, SampleTron and the rest of them...
 
I guess that's why people pay good money for Kontakt...
 
Did I mention IK never got back to me to fix my profile and change my country... Not a happy customer here.
