It will have only proved itself to be worth $1.99 after I have used it in at least one song. If I can't use it, it's not worth anything. I have some free libraries that aren't worth the price I paid for them.

Hey bit, for the most part I'm using EWQLSO Platinum Plus but I like to use sounds from my Kurzweil K2500XS at times as well as some more synthetic sample libraries(Hideaway Studios, Hollow Sun, Indiginus, etc.). Amazing what we can do nowadays...I can't finance a personal orchestra nor fit them all in my home studio ;)

The installer can be annoying for smaller libraries, but it is a joy for the bigger ones!!

And I've yet to buy a library from SoundIron or 8Dio or their predecessor Tonehammer from which I do not get great use! I can't believe that they put that much effort into a $2 (or $3) library.

It is absolutely worth the money to me.

Yeh, I'd have a full orchestra in here too, but for the lack of space. I'd have to at least knock down a wall and take over the adjacent two garages. I suspect that my wife might object.

I have a Kurzweil PC2R but don't use it much anymore. It does have some great string patches, though. I should dust it off and put it back to work again.

If you like to blend in synthetic strings from Kontakt libraries, I've got a recommendation for you: Solid State Symphony from Indiginus. It's cheap and gobs of fun.

Another Iron Pack has been released. This one's $2.99. Appears to be a subset of their Saz instrument. Demos here

It's showing the Box and Screenshot under Sound Iron Pack 2...but there is nothing to say that
it is part of 2...or that it is still available....
