My Sweetwater guy, Kurt Martin sent an email that my boxed ST3 was shipped on 9/17. Hopefully, I'll get it today, as Michigan is "quick" from Indiana.

Received mine. Installed flawlessly.

I've been watching the Groove3 tutorial on it and I think it has interesting possibilities and capabilities. Definitely the Groove3 tutorial is keeping me interested about increasing my use of SampleTank3.

All that said, I guess I'm spoiled by my Kontakt libraries. The samples I tried out (which weren't an exhaustive sampling) all seemed pretty old school and plain in SampleTank3. I liked the one off things I tried like the flute.

Because the sounds seem pretty plain I'm interested in what I'm seeing in the Groove3 tutorial, where Eli uses SampleTank3 built in features and knobs to really spruce things up.

So out of the gate I'm not wowed, almost disappointed now that I have it. But, I think there's good potential if I keep after learning how to tweak within SampleTank3, which seems more intuitive than Kontakt itself. So my interest is still keen, but it's going to take more time than the smooth install and go I was hoping for.

I have been gigging with it for about a monthish now and have fallen in love with how easy it is to sculpt the sounds/mix/layers. The FX are always on and help mold the "wow" factor a lot.

Yeah, sculpting seems like it will be easy, and I'm attempting to work with it to get further enthused.

Mine came Friday.  Have not had time to install it yet.
