Ah, the smell of a new rug! And black! :)
I'm starting to be really happy with how this place is turning out. May not seem like such a change but imho, that new rug it really ties up the whole thing nicely. Plus, the wheels on my chair really didn't agree with the tick carpet in this room.
Also grabbed a little cushion as my lower back has been killing me lately, and I think it's mostly due to the time I spend sitting in that chair.
Tomorrow I should be in for some serious business, as the sound proofing material arrives. The back wall is problematic because of the window (hidden behind the curtains), meaning I had to buy some long pieces of wood which will be nailed to the wall and onto which I'll be able to attach the wedges regardless.
That too seems like the most innocuous thing, until you've seen me trying to work with tools, even just a hammer...
