John I've been there so many years there is nothing I need to prove. I was pretty sure that it wouldn't take me long to fix and get things back in order within a few weeks and fortunately after being back a week I know now I was right.
The hardest part of my job is getting there and realizing I'm trading my time, my life, for the protection (health insurance) of me and my family. There is no way I could afford to pay 5g's or more a month for the coverage I currently have. It seems that "affordable health care" is defined by completely stupid earthlings-this space man sure thinks they are friggin' idiots.
Well I found out yesterday that I had visitors (close friend(s) )showing up today to see how much my brain had been scrambled so I took a few days off...I think we may go farther south down to the coast in Alabama today...I hear it's beautiful and the one time I was at the coast in Florida I was to busy to enjoy it.
They already know that we're the genetically special/challenged descendants of aliens and can use only @ 10% so I understand their concern. ( they'll be happy to learn that I'm "normal" and still just as nuts as other earthlings)
I'm glad they sleep in...I like quiet mornings while I indulge in my good morning brew.
