Has anyone else experienced a problem whereby the Audio from the the UA-25 EX stops working?
I have un-installed and re-installed the drivers tried different usb cables, tried a different computer and also tried headphones as well as audio outs to amp.

One minute it was working the next not - this appears to be a usb related issue since if i play a guitar through the input the sound comes out of my monitor speakers.

many thanks

I have had the UA25-EX for 6 months.....All I can say is :USB 1.1!!! Edirol/cakewalk could update the driver, for at least reasonable performance, but THEY DON'T. The TASCAM US 600[no sound...ever] and then the UA25.It has certainly been the most painful introduction to digital audio, one could imagine.I even bought a WHOLE NEW computer,as I was new to digital, and the lying salesman said the UA was USB 2.0[IT'S NOT] Im afraid the new Roland Quad/Octacapture are THE ONLY reliable CHEAP USB interfaces. The ONLY company for quality AND reliability is RME.

I have found a way to make it occur less frequent. I assume that you are using Cakewalk here. If you "right click" the Cakewalk icon and select "run as administrator" from the popup menu, chances are that it will work for a longer period of time. At least it works for me. It will still occur from time to time though. The strange thing is that my account already has administrator previleges, so it really shouldn't make any difference, but it does. It's worth a try :-)

Yeah my problem is really bad.
Only works about 20% of the time. Frustrating
