U tube can give you decent exposure .
I've had people that might not of ever gave a listen to anything I've ever done ….give me a listen ….
it might be because I posted a couple of tunes like Somewhere over The Rainbow or Blue Bossa on u tube

Yeah I posted an old 4-track recording of me and some friends doing a Motorhead cover on YouTube and I've had comments and even private messages about it. It helps if the video title or the tags contains things that people will be searching for.

I have had a number of songs that reached #1 in sub category and placed rather high in the main category as well...and it looks impressive to see that there are 76,324 other songs in said categories...... however, when you realize the truth, that it only took 57 plays of the song to get to #1....... hummm..... not exactly like having a Billboard top 40 tune......
