Well, I, for one, would definitely feel depressed and aggro in that studio now!  Good job!

Nah... :)

I have the whole rest of the house which is all white and light and almost Greek-temple-ish.

The red marks off the limits of my little bubble better, which works great for me - but I can understand how it might affect others differently. It does effectively shift one's mood.

Very gothic :). We had that red in our lounge back in the UK in 1999. I like it, others, well.. not so much LOL. I am going for muted grey/lilac in the studio when it's ready this time.

I first worked w/ these colours when I inherited the ex-roommate's room 10 years ago - it was the first time I had a 100% dedicated room. He had picked the exact same red - I wasn't sure how much I'd like it but I didn't want to re-paint.

But I loved it and I enjoyed quite an outburst of creativity working there...

Strangely enough, though this room is bigger and much different in shape, with the black curtains on the wall in front of me and the red walls in my peripheral vision, it really feels like I'm back in that room - only, with much better tools, a lot more space around me - and completely smoke-free. :)
