I wonder if they are in tune.

It's amazing how many different tunings Rick Parfitt uses in the Quo repertoire...

But instead of using a capo or retuning between each song, he just straps on a different geetar

Note to Krist: Inform your other half that you'll now need a separate guitar for every tuning you use. Explain to her that this makes sound financial sense because you will then be able to trade in your capo in for about half what you paid for it, and she'll definitely be on board with that

I don't use a capo anymore. It's just more satisfying to hit the lead singer in the back of the head with a spare drum key when he needs it. The capo's aerodynamics leave a lot to be desired.

I also can spin a wheel on my JTV 69 and use a virtual capo.

I do not do this very often, but I can !

I used that feature a fair bit on my Variax Jeff. Especially for drop-D tuning or for changing the 'key' of the whole guitar at once. I was always impressed with how Line 6 made that work so well.

AHH!!!!  So THAT'S why they give you another drum key with every extra bit of kit you buy!  It all makes sense now.

.....isn't that cheating.

I have always thought those Gibson robotic tuners were cheating a bit as well.  Why should they be automatically in tune when the rest of us are not?
