And of course, personally I have used a capo for over 40 years. I then learned not long ago, you need a different capo for a twelve string... whodda thunk it?. I actually have found it frees me up a lot with my song writing now. I only ever did maybe 3 songs with capo on, all written by someone who used it. I now write with it, helps me find new musical pitches. Oh, and, I suck at bar chords, bad fingers, no flexible first joint. Why I took up keys also in 76.
