sharkeNo need for a car here in Manhattan either. I cannot believe how many people drive into the city. They just end up stuck in gridlock and then another 30minutes finding a parking space (15 blocks from where they're going). I complain about the subway but boy is it fast compared to driving. Even making the stops, it's still twice as fast as a taxi. I'll take a cab once in a blue moon and instantly regret it once we're stuck in traffic.
MakeShift"Winter was brutal, but when you're born and raised in that stuff, that's just the way it is."I grew up in a town of 8,000 in MN, about 45 minutes from Canada. Four wheel drive or snow mobile got us to about anywhere we needed to go.
