What Dan does not mention is Pro-Q 2 is twice as CPU efficient as Pro-Q 1 (according to the FF devs).

No mention on Fabs site yet. Looks like a must have.

Interesting but for a hacker like me, seems like it give me more ways to smash up mixes even quicker. No?

And it's just another way to spend more money I don't have.

Why no price point yet?  I know I will receive a discount due to the other things I own but that does not help if you don't know what it is going to sell for. No mention of an upgrade path from Pro-Q 1 either.

No information on pricing yet, but it'll probably be the same as it's been for Pro-Q since day one, 200 bucks. The usual discount structure will apply, so if you've got a bunch of FF plugins already it may run you about a hundred bucks. So as much as my CPU would thank me, I'll have to skip this upgrade for now. But pennies are being dropped into the cookie jar for Christmas. Hopefully, they'll re-run the Christmas sale again this year.

I really expected the next major update would be for Pro-C. They've been promising it for years, it's older than Pro-Q, and it's lacking some features that have become standard for high-end compressors since its introduction.
