Tell me your 3.5 code and I'll check it by buying 4.

Heads up for sure.

Larry is right about this one (never doubted his rec).

Couple minutes into the demo and the new version was really rewritten from the ground up. Not the same animal as III.

III and before fell way short of the mark for my snob mentality. Either you crystal metal shredded or you didn't.

Ver 4 is a lot more refined. More of an Amplitube gradient response. Scuffham and Headcase got to be on their toes because there is now credible competition.

Got to figure out what the hell they require for dangles but will likely upgrade pending a good warez crack to protect the investment.

Technology moving so fast that we are almost at the breaking point where digital is about as good as the real thing. Maybe not on second thought, but closing in.

Big thumbs up for Revalver 4.

All subjective stuff, and miles may vary radical depending on the goal...

Probably the first guitar software I've used that doesn't so far need something else plugged in either before or after to prop up the shortfalls..

I purchased all the cabinets I didn't have, the TakeMine ACT Library,
and the Auto EQ, which is the only  effect it doesn't come with..

10 cabs, an ACT Library, and the EQ...total cost $22...that's sure got
IK's pricing structure blown out of the water....
