I see they still have not included a Peavey "Nashville" amp sim.

I wonder if there will be upgrade pricing from the current Revalver?

I'll have to look and see what version I have when I get back to my DAW. I got a free light version at one point and then upgraded to a fuller version that included about 5-6 amps, for around 20 bucks. I don't think it's the Mk III.V, though.

It doesn't offer much in the way of amp sims unless you buy extras. Then all you have is a bunch of Peavey amps and I find they all sound very similar. What do you guys see in this that I don't?

It offers a "build your own amp" aspect that the others don't,
at the schematic level - right down to picking your tubes and so
on.  As with any Amp sim, you have to work to get what you may
be looking for, but I'm interested in trying the "ambiance" thing and
seeing if it can finally give that "full" sound without having to double
or quad track the guitars and pan and so on...blah blah blah...

Listening to the video, they get that sound pretty easily by switching it on...
but we shall see..

At least the Demo song sounds good...

BTW...they have Marshall (called Michael), Buddah, Vox (called FOX),
etc...you just have to "read between the lines"...LOL

The strength is as cclarry says. You should go beyond the plug and play. Some Vsts suit p&p but others benefit from a tweak and this one does. It is loaded towards the Peavey sound but the update looks to have a few good touches in other areas.

It also has ACT (audio cloning technology which profiles your guitar and allows selecting other guitar tones from it, convolution speaker sim, 2 signal chains, and more.
