So did you have to register to a usb or ilok 2? If you don't have it plugged in will revalver still work?

Tuck,

I'm usiing it in Demo mode right now...for the 2 minutes I got to play it
it was pretty awesome....under the First Impressions Category I selected
"The Lead"  WOW....pretty impressive...and expressive.

I've paid...but I don't think I want to use my Ilok...I hate paying $25 to sell something...
I'll use a USB Drive...and YES they are forcing you to have it plugged in from what I
understand...

Ok...I tied it to my iLok...the license doesn't go there...but the iLok has to be
present for R4 to work...

The ACT mode is pretty impresssive also...so far...I'm likin' it a lot...

Thanks for your help Larry! I called Peavey and they don't know anything about it so they are sending me a support link to someone that's out of this country that handles the Revalver product...   If I would have known I would not have done it. Even if I could buy two licenses and not be required to have a USB or ilok device inserted I would still do it but, If I Must have a device inserted into the machine I will attempt to get my money back. May have just thrown away $49...

Tuck..you can "tie" it to ANY USB device...it even offered to let me tie to my Keyboard.  It's just a fail-safe...
it doesn't have to be an iLok...

I need to use this on two separate machines. I have no free usb ports on either and both are setup with the devices I need to use for that particular machine.

Regardless, it sounds like the device you tie it to Must be on at the time you are using it. So it I could tie it to the audio interface on the laptop if I could do that. Then I would need to purchase another license and possibly tie it to a control surface at the desk?  Hell, I don't know yet.

I have sent a support request in asking these questions and hopefully I will receive a reply yet today. I guess I still don't completely understand the New copy protection scheme. Revalver 3.5 was not like this at all.
