So can I so I doubt it is our systems to blame. btw, I can post just fine unless I click on another tab or browser. Then I have to log off and back on again to post.

Hi, I'm confused1. How can you post if you can't log in?

I can log in and post from seemingly everywhere EXCEPT my office laptop...which is where I do most of my forum viewing and posting. It's a real PITA to have to go to another box just to post a quick response or start a new thread. Willy at Cake is working on it but I only here from him maybe once a week and so far...no solutions.

Then this is definately system specific if other machines work fine.
Did you delete specifically your cookies? (also do the same with cccleaner).
If all else fails try another browser.
It could also be the office firewall if all the machines in the office (I assume the office is not in your home) behave the same way.
