ok, so basically he did exactly what i originally suggested.

i use waves doubler for this....
use it on my lead vox in addition to actually double tracking the lead vox...

works like a charm.

got the idea from dave Pensado.

Well, how about that. You taught me something new about a Melda product, David. I did not know it could do fake stereo. I thought it was just for manipulating stereo signals. Shows ya what I know. I think I'll have to give that one a try and see what it does.

MStereoSpread just came up in the list of current 1/2 off effects. Even at that price a tad expensive, but really a great plug-in that does the job with 100% effectiveness and excellent sound quality.
