The new Reaktor ensembles look intriguing.  But I already have enough synthesizers and effects.  Apart from those, the only things they are adding to the bundle that I might want are Session Horns.

PS Thanks Larry for posting the pictures.

I am guessing that screen shot is for "Ultimate"?

I think the old Pianos were in need of an update, I just found them a bit lackluster and always go to one of the Sampletekk pianos. An improved set of Pianos would round the package off but may not be a selling point for me as I have other options.

As for the rest of it, Drumlab, I can't say this appealed to me, it seems to be a bit EDM orintated. Session horns may be useful.

The clincher for me may be if Kontakt 6 is released in this version.

It's just K10 Standard Glyn...K9 had 33 instruments and effects...K10 39
I think Ultimate has 65 products, which would bump to 71 with this update
if nothing else is added to the U pak...

Those new Reaktor ensembles do look interesting, but then again there is something "samey" about many of these Reaktor effects and synths, in that they're all using the same building blocks...like the same cabinet simulator, the same 8-pole filter, the same delay and reverb etc. But I guess building blocks is what Reaktor is all about...

I think many of Reaktor's most impressive gems are in the user library, for free. Eccentrix is probably in my top 3 synths - it just sounds so amazing - and it cost me nothing.

Keep in mind that the building blocks in Reaktor go down to the level of individual mathematical operations and one can thus do almost anything (assuming they know how), though not necessarily particularly efficiently.

I think that Komplete has enough pianos already...so 3 more
is kinda pushing the "piano" thing beyond the limit...

I think Reaktor 6 is inclusive in K10.

Some of the other things look interesting...

Outside of Giant the other ones aren't very good according to people who are never satisfied with piano sounds.

If one is really good at using Reaktor, these aren't necessary.  I hope to really learn this app. Some things thrown in Komplete are basically glamorous presets.

I'd rather see some additional Rhodes & Wurlies over more acoustic pianos.
Think I'll stick with V9 for now.

:D

It does seem that some people are very particular about pianos. Personally I find they are quite good. Alicia's Keys is quite good too.
