They were far less kind in the KVR Sampler forum then I was....

Some were, many are very impressed with the sounds and features.  Many thousands installed, some are not satisfied and have reported such so we can make improvements as necessary and some are very happy too and have relayed their thoughts too.  This is not atypical of any release, I look forward to the evolution of SampleTank 3 and hope that there are fixes for any CW-related issue pronto for anybody here that is experiencing those issues.

The guy selling was a total GAS buyer. Maybe my expectations are just more realistic than most. I did not buy Sampletank to obtain great solo instruments. I find even my dimension pro sounds are better for solo work for the most part. Where sampletank has always shined in my  opinion is the ability to assemble multiple instruments quickly that sit in mix well.  I know grammy winning producers and engineers who have used it for just that reason. The sounds are not for everybody like every other product but I am liking it so far despite a few glitches like the vst3 issue. I think importimg libraries could be a little smoother but that's nitpicky

Yes, he states that it was GAS that got him in his sale thread and we're happy that someone excited about SampleTank 3 was able to get a great deal on it from him.
 
I do know that the specific issues people here are having have been brought to the attention of the team and I hope to see some forward progress for you in a short time.  Thank you for your patience with any issues you may have run into.

I keep reminding myself to focus on other stuff, while I wait for my boxed version, like yorolpal. I hope to hear from Sweetwater soon, about it being shipped. Maybe I don't mind waiting, while IK tackles the issues.

Ok Guys, after a slightly longer period of assessment  any more thoughts on Sampletank 3 - good, bad, indifferent?????
 

Hopefully IK can confirm or deny this but I read somewhere that it could now be 2nd half of Aug. for the boxed sets. I have no real data to back this up so I do hope IK will stop in and give us a better idea. Makes no difference either way, I would rather have it right than rushed.
