Larry..actually, I do know you did not buy within last two weeks because:
1) It would be even more of a non-issue than it already is
2) You write almost word for word the same rant about how long you have owned these items and have been waiting.

I already stated I don't think it's a great policy but it is still much ado about nothing because it is not unusual for software companies to not keep links infinitely.  The fact that a customer service rep has to look through your records and add the link to your account would eat into that profit.  In any case it's all a bit of a red herring because once again, you are ranting about an issue you already said is not your issue which is a sign you are ranting just to be ranting.  The people who it actually has effected on this thread don't seem nearly as upset by it as you.  I'm at least relieved you have upgraded all of us to being "f''ed in the A" from being brutally raped so I suppose that is progress.  The bottom line is you are the one making the absurd claim so the burden of proof is on you to actually present facts to back them up instead of repeating the same thing.

You mean all those extra libs they sold for about $10 bucks anyway in this or that sale?

Does anyone recall who developed these expansion libraries?  I vaguely recall it was not IK but some third party outfit.  I definitely recall how much these were discussed here during the course of the ten-bucks-a-pop sale.  I picked up maybe half a dozen at the time and I know a number of you guys bought into the sale in a big way as well.

Edit: After a little research, I came across this (from the IK site):

The Xpansion Tank 2 series from IK Multimedia and Sonic Reality is a collection of 30 individual high-quality sound libraries for SampleTank, consisting of 15 multi-sampled and 15 loops titles, totaling nearly 10,000 new sounds and a staggering 30 GB of samples.

From this forum, I dedged up the history: the deal was a group buy in 2010 that got to a seven-for-the-price-of-one level.  Thousands of folks bought into that sale.

Ah that sale, i seem to remember buying some as well as 7 for the price of one seemed to good to miss at the time. Unfortunately i went 64bit quite soon after purchase and because Sampletank did not like my 64bit set up very much, i never really used them!!
