Yeh, it's not a speedy process. It can take a minute or two, and there's no progress bar to let you know it's working. Maybe someday I'll fancy it up a bit. Probably not much I can do to speed it up, though; it has to open each DLL and get its version number. But the real slowdown is Excel, which is a dog to automate.
 
EDIT: I added a progress bar to avoid that kind of confusion.

Hi.. that programs is pretty nifty Bit.
 
Its spotted all my 32bit plugins - cool.
 
1 question though.. it hasn't located any of my X64 plugins. Sorry bout this...

Ah, it's because I'm still in 32-bit land. I assumed the 64-bit plugs were registered in the same place, as there is an x64 bit flag there, and the few 64-bit plugins I've accidentally installed are all accounted for there as well.
 
Bapu, could you take a look and tell me where the 64-bit VSTs are registered?
