sharke
I think I've mentioned this before, but I once walked past her in the West Village. She had an entourage walking "respectfully" behind her. I recognized her about 10 seconds before we passed, thought "oh look, it's the Ono woman" and was about to look away when I realized she was giving me this ferocious stare, like "Yes...yes it's me...I dare you to say something." It was ridiculous. I mean you run into celebs all the time in New York and it's no big deal, I'm certainly not going to get all starry eyed for Yoko f'in Ono.
...
She has put up with so many insults in 40 years for being a woman that loved John and he loved her back, regardless of her singing talents or whatever. I can't really blame her when people can't even say a nice cheery Good Morning, or Good Afternoon mam!
But if she did that to me, I would have told her ... I've said nice things about you all your life. If that's how you thank good people that care, **** you!
Sadly, one of the interviews with John that used to be distributed to radio stations, spoke about this, and how the problem was that there were so many people around them that it was impossible to know who was right or wrong, and that they had to just close the door on people, which some took offense to. You have to know who you are, and if that was the situation that you saw Sharke, then, Yoko is no longer a "person", but a stupid old geriatric doll! I, honestly, DOUBT THAT.
