Westphalen Electric Violin is an electric violin sample library recorded by Gerhard Westphalen and edited and programmed by David Healey. The library features a single patch which includes sustain, staccato, and true legato articulations.
The main idea of this library was to help composers who are looking for the increasingly popular electric violin sound.

Ok...I watched the video...not working for me either...
sounds are not very good IMO...I was just going off the
concept...but...after listening...it sounds way to processed
and "muddy"..

It would appear that they've left out an important articulation for solo violin: slides. This would be a great library for $25 if not for that oversight.

It's the tone, trem & realism that I can't get into. For electric violyn I'd like more of a Jean Luc Ponty vibe, not just fx's. An actual tune where it's being performed might be better though.
